Miami.- The Inter American Press Association (IAPA) will organize its 81st General Assembly in the Dominican Republic from October 16 to 19 of this year, a meeting that will pay special attention to the situation of press freedom in America, and will have a look at artificial intelligence.
The meeting, which will take place in Punta Cana, will include conferences by journalists such as the Venezuelan Boris Muñoz, from The New York Times; Jon Lee Anderson, from The New Yorker; or the Nicaraguan exiled in Costa Rica Carlos Fernando Chamorro, the SIP reported this Friday in a statement.
