This is the athlete Ronny Calvo, the young man who drowned in the waters of the Caribbean Sea; he died in the same place as his father

Santo Domingo. – Ronny Calvo has been identified as the young man who drowned in the Caribbean Sea, in front of the Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) on the 30 de Mayo highway. He was a relative of the photojournalists Raúl from the Escogido team and Alberto Calvo from the El Día newspaper and the Estrellas team.

Ronny was a young sportsman who loved basketball, and he practiced at the Los Coquitos Club in the Los Mameyes sector. He died right in the same place where his father died, drowned.

"Ronny grew up under my wing in basketball at the Los Coquitos club in Los Mameyes, he was obsessed with that sport because he wanted to be like his father Noby, who left great memories with the Rojos team in our superior tournament. Things in life, he died in the same place where his father drowned," said Servio Odalis Sánchez Castillo on his Facebook account, a close friend of the deceased.
