Tragedy in Bávaro: young man from La Romana dies in traffic accident

The young Romanense Esther Eloisa Álvarez del Monte died on Wednesday night after suffering a traffic accident on the East Tourist Boulevard, near the Iberostar Bávaro Hotel, in Punta Cana. According to preliminary information, the victim lost control of the white Honda CR-V SUV they were driving, impacting the safety barrier of the road. Álvarez del Monte was assisted by units of the National Emergency System 9-1-1 and urgently transferred to the Verón Hospital, where she unfortunately passed away while receiving medical attention. The deceased was the niece of community leader Elizabeth del Monte, vice president of the Association of Neighborhood Councils of Villa Hermosa and a recognized community leader of sector 14 of Cumayasa, in La Romana.
