Young man stabs another after being slapped in Villa Duarte

Santo Domingo Este. – A young man died after being seriously injured with a bladed weapon during a violent incident that occurred on the night of Wednesday, December 31st, in a business located in the Pueblo Nuevo sector, Villa Duarte, in Santo Domingo Este. According to images captured by a security camera, the alleged aggressor had received a slap from the deceased, which led to an argument that quickly escalated into a fatal assault. Unofficial versions indicate that both young men had previous personal feuds, allegedly related to a sentimental dispute over the love of a woman who later distanced herself from both.

The audiovisual circulates on social media, so it is presumed to be in the hands of the authorities for the investigation process and to clarify the exact circumstances of the event. The identities of the victim and their aggressor are unknown at this time. Members of the Scientific Police and the Public Ministry went to the scene, who are carrying out the corresponding investigations.
