Young people from La Romana receive motivational talk about life project

La Romana.-With the aim of motivating and conveying a message of reflection to young people and adolescents about the importance of their life project, the Provincial Health Directorate (DPS) of La Romana gave an educational and motivational talk at the Noé School in this city, within the framework of the celebration of Youth Week. The activity was led by the provincial director of Health, Dr. Carmen Jiménez, and coordinated through the Adult Program, under the responsibility of its head, Dr. Johanna Arias. During the day, reflective talks were held aimed at strengthening self-esteem, decision-making, and the personal and professional projection of the students. The presentations were given by the young professionals Lic. Enyer Adames and Licda. Suani Encarnación, from the areas of communication and law, who interacted with the students sharing their life experiences, skills, aspirations and the importance of defining clear goals, such as what they want to study and in what they want to develop professionally.

From her side, Dr. Carmen Jiménez urged students to continue their studies with perseverance, to fight for their dreams, and to move forward with determination until they achieve their goals and objectives. The provincial director was accompanied by Dr. Jenser Tejeda, head of the DIV; María Sánchez, head of the Life Course; Lic. Doris M. Pérez, head of Mental Health; Lic. Génesis del Rosario, from the Adolescent Program; and Lic. Madelin Morla, from School Health, who contributed valuable ideas to the development of the activity.
