Zusan debuts with “No Me Bajo”, a powerful and empowering merengue

Not giving up is a declaration of self-respect. It's telling the world that one can shine, move forward, and sow their own revolution without renouncing who they are, said the artist, @zusanmusicofficial
The Dominican music scene welcomes Zusan with high expectations, who debuts with his song "No Me Bajo", a vibrant mix of traditional merengue with modern nuances. The song comes with a clear message of determination and authenticity, inviting listeners to stay true to their own essence and to proudly defend what has been built with effort. With a powerful and uncompromising voice, Zusan doesn't seek to fit in: she seeks to stand out. Her vocal style combines the strength of the great performers of the genre with a freshness that distinguishes her, projecting an artistic identity charged with energy and character. The artist explains that "No Me Bajo" is an anthem of personal affirmation and freedom. "This song is about recognizing our worth without asking for permission or approval. Each achievement is built with work, soul, and authenticity," she expressed. According to the interpreter, the theme also conveys a message of female empowerment: leaving behind the blame of others, breaking stereotypes and understanding that true brilliance does not consist of extinguishing others, but of defending one's own place with dignity. Although she has been linked to the artistic scene since she was young, this release marks her official debut as a soloist. Her stage presence, charisma, and vocal strength project her as one of the new voices to follow within female merengue. On his side, the music producer and manager of the artist, Dioni Rojas, highlighted that the project is committed to an authentic proposal that connects with the public. "No Me Bajo is more than a song; it is a declaration of character and perseverance", he affirmed.
