Santo Domingo.- By way of Las Américas International Airport, 140 Dominicans deported from the United States will arrive in the country, who served sentences or were arrested in immigration raids by the Customs and Immigration service of the Government headed by President Donald Trump.
Dominicans will arrive escorted by federal agents and will be received by immigration agents and the Specialized Airport Security Corps, and then taken to the purification center in Haina.

The process will be to purify them and subsequently deliver them to their families.
So far, it is estimated that during the new Trump administration, 1,128 Dominicans have been deported, most of them for being in U.S. territory without legal authorization.
These data, provided by the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), cover from January 27 to April 29, and include those removed by federal agents from Puerto Rico.
