Milady de Cabral: “We had many projects in common, but God's plans were different”

Santo Domingo.- Radio host and television presenter Milady de Cabral expressed her sorrow over the death of veteran communicator Socorro Castellanos, who passed away on Wednesday night after facing a tough battle against lung cancer.

Milady, with a broken voice and visibly affected, revealed that she and the respected communicator had plans and projects in common, however, God's plans were different, expressing that although her perfidy hurts, she respects God's designs.

“Goodbyes are painful, but it was a gift from God to have her as a friend. We have many projects in common, but one's plans are human, God's plans are divine, and His plan was that, that she would leave. For those of us who have faith in God, we know this is a farewell,” Milady expressed through tears.

The producer also added that her friend Socorro Castellanos will be remembered as a woman who opened doors and sowed seeds in the lives of many communication professionals and other areas, who acquired knowledge with her and through her.
