New wave of Iranian attacks falls on Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and impacts several buildings

Jerusalem, June 15 (EFE).- A new wave of aerial attacks from Iran fell on several points in Israel early this Sunday, among which are Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, impacting several buildings and causing fires.

Firefighters reported impacts on two buildings in the Dan district, where Tel Aviv is located, an impact in the Jerusalem district, and "several impact incidents" and a fire in the Central district, the region surrounding Tel Aviv.

This new wave of attacks is already the sixth that Iran has launched against Israel in response to the offensive of the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against the Persian country.

Emergency services expressed "concern about the possibility of people trapped" by the debris of damaged buildings in the Dan district, where one of the impacts was recorded in an eight-story building south of Tel Aviv.

For its part, the Tel Aviv police in the Central district assured that they are working to "locate and provide assistance to the injured."

Information about human damage from this sixth wave of attacks is not yet known.

Iran bombs Israeli soil since Friday, leaving at least six fatalities in Tamra, three near Haifa and three in Tel Aviv, and dozens injured.

The Iranian attacks respond to the offensive launched by Israel, arguing that the development of the Persian country's nuclear program posed an "existential threat" to it.

Israel has bombed Iran for three consecutive nights, with a toll of more than a hundred dead.
