Kevin Durant acquires a minority stake in Paris Saint-Germain

Paris. Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), majority owner of Paris Saint-Germain, announced today the addition of Kevin Durant, NBA star, as a new minority shareholder of the French club. The investment is made through Boardroom, Durant's firm, along with his partner Rich Kleiman, strengthening the alliance between the basketball player and the organization.

Durant, a four-time Olympic gold medalist with the United States national team —including his most recent title in Paris 2024—, joins PSG not only as an investor, but as a strategic partner who will collaborate in the development of marketing, social media, and brand diversification initiatives. Likewise, he will explore possible basketball-related projects under the umbrella of the entity.

“Kevin Durant will be a direct shareholder in Paris Saint-Germain and a pillar for our global expansion plans,” declared Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of PSG and QSI. “Together with him, we hope to launch ambitious initiatives that will further drive the club's continued growth.”

For his part, Durant expressed his enthusiasm:
