President Abinader is proposed the creation of a "Diaspora Bond in Dollars"

Santo Domingo. – During the meeting “La Semanal con la Prensa”, held this Monday at the National Palace, a representative of several media outlets proposed to President Luis Abinader the creation of a “Diaspora Bond in Dollars”.

The initiative seeks to offer Dominicans residing abroad a safe, profitable, and patriotic investment option, thereby strengthening their link with the country's economic development.

The proponent highlighted that this bond would allow channeling part of the remittances towards strategic projects of the State, boosting the economy and increasing the active participation of the diaspora in national progress. The proposal was well received by those present and was left on the table for evaluation by the Government.
