Santo Domingo.- Through social media, the influencer and content creator "El Chino RD" denounced that the police authorities demanded a permit to record videos on public roads. Yeison Volques, the influencer's given name, who is dedicated to creating content about road education on the country's streets, explained that agents approached him asking him to present his permit to be able to record content at the intersection of Máximo Gómez and 27 de Febrero avenues.

"Este será el último video que verán de El ChinoRD, porque según la Policía Nacional no se puede grabar sin un permiso. No habrá más contenido sobre educación vial hasta nuevo aviso",

indicó Volques.

"Your freedom of expression and information established in the Constitution of the Republic is being violated, which in its article 49 establishes the following: “Every person has the right to freely express their thoughts, ideas and opinions, by any means, without prior censorship being established”, highlighted the jurist. This right includes seeking, investigating, receiving and disseminating information of all kinds, of a public nature, by any means, channel or route, as determined by the constitution and the law," concluded De Paula. Volques has 1.1 million followers on his Instagram social media account and dedicates his content to road education, both for motorcyclists and drivers who disrespect traffic signs and Dominican traffic law.
