Azua. – Education Regional 03, in coordination with the National Institute for Teacher Training and Development (INAFOCAN), launched the organization process for the opening of diplomas aimed at teacher training in the provinces of Azua, San José de Ocoa and Peravia.
The meeting was led by the regional director of Education, teacher Jorge Antonio De los Santos, and the regional deputy director and liaison with INAFOCAN, Luis Gregorio Sánchez, who met with representatives from several universities that will be in charge of the development of the training programs.
During the coordination day, the academic projects were presented, the programming of the diplomas was outlined, and the schedules of the participating teachers were defined, in order to guarantee a planned and successful training process.
The universities responsible for providing the training are:
- Universidad Nordestana, in the municipalities of Baní and Azua.
- Universidad Nacional Tecnológica (UNNATEC), in the second cycle of district 03-01.
- Universidad Evangélica, in districts 03-02 of Padre Las Casas and 03-04.
- Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), in district 03-03 of San José de Ocoa.
