Alberto Padilla, former CNN en Español presenter, passes away

Costa Rica - The Mexican journalist, Alberto Padilla, former presenter of CNN en Español, passed away on the night of Friday, August 29, in a hospital in San José, Costa Rica, the country where he had resided for the last five years. This was reported by CRC 89.1 Radio, the media outlet where Padilla had a radio program. Padilla, 60 years old, was at a social gathering with several friends when he felt unwell and fainted. "He was immediately transferred to the Cima Hospital in San José, where, despite the care received, the fatal outcome occurred in the evening," the media reported. In Costa Rica, I had the program "A las 5 con Alberto Padilla" (At 5 with Alberto Padilla), broadcast on CRC 89.1 Radio, a space for economic, political, and social analysis. Padilla was a well-known face on CNN en Español. At the American network, he worked as a presenter and analyst. He covered world events and interviewed political, business, and social leaders. The journalist was born in Monterrey, Mexico, on January 9, 1965. He graduated in International Studies from the University of Monterrey and completed the Senior Management Program at INCAE Business School in Costa Rica.
