Santo Domingo. - This Saturday at 3 p.m. the protest walk called by the Frente Amplio will take place to protest against the high prices of food and medicine. This will be in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este, starting from the Los Mina gas station..

The protest march is called to demand price reductions on food and medicine, with the purpose of calling on the Government to come to the aid of the most needy. This includes taking urgent measures to curb the high cost of living that mainly affects the poor and middle classes of the country.

"This march takes place within the framework of a series of mobilizations promoted by the party to denounce the social and economic conditions that affect the majority of the Dominican population," said Heidy Adon, vice president of the FA.

In addition to demanding a reduction in the price of food and medicine, they will protest against blackouts, for the reduction of the electricity tariff, for the potable water service, the repair of the treatment plant of the 3 brazos and the construction of the Guillermina Uribe High School in the three brazos.
