Puerto Plata.-.The baseball player from Major Leagues, Wander Franco attended this Monday to the Colegiado Court of the Judicial District of Puerto Plata, where the ruling of the new trial he faces for alleged child sexual abuse will be issued, in one of the judicial processes with the greatest public repercussion in the country.
The presence of the Dominican shortstop at the Palace of Justice has generated intense media attention, while dozens of people remain outside the court awaiting the decision that will define the judicial and professional course of the player.

Against Franco, the accusing body requested a sentence of five years in prison, in addition to the payment of a fine equivalent to 10 minimum wages, after assuring that there is sufficient evidence to compromise his criminal responsibility.
