Occasional rain will affect some provinces this Friday

Santo Domingo. - According to the forecast of the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET), this Friday, during the morning hours, occasional cloud increases will occur with occasional rains and possible thunderstorms in points near the Atlantic coast. Similarly, in the afternoon until the early hours of the night, these showers will be recorded in Hato Mayor, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Sánchez Ramírez, Samaná, Santiago, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, San Cristóbal, Santo Domingo, Azua, Santiago Rodríguez, San Juan, Elías Piña and Baoruco. However, for tomorrow Saturday, during the early hours, some showers will be shown on the north coast, the southeast and the center of the country, product of the dragging of clouds generated by the northeast wind. On the other hand, during the day, a meteorological pattern dominated by a high-pressure system is expected, which will favor mostly sunny conditions with isolated clouds in a large part of the national territory. Only weak and isolated showers could occur in locations near mountainous areas, such as Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago, San Cristóbal, Azua, San José de Ocoa, Baoruco, Independencia and Barahona, until the early hours of the night.
