Los Tigres del Norte will offer their first concert in SD in May 2026 as part of the successful world tour "La Lotería"

With the same pride with which they have carried the stories, tradition, and voice of the Mexican people around the world, Los Tigres del Norte are preparing to write a new chapter in their career with their first performance in Santo Domingo. The long-awaited concert will take place on May 16, 2026, starting at 8:00 PM, at the Óvalo de la Ciudad Ganadera, constituting a historic event for Latin American music and culture. Tickets are now available at TodoTickets.do.

In a meeting with the media at the Dominican Republic Consulate in New York - headed by businessman Pedro Zamora, president of @ZamoraLiveoficial; associate producers Lenin Ramírez and Víctor Minaya; the Dominican consul in New York, Jesús “Chu” Vásquez Martínez; and hosted by music producer Andrés Salce - the updated details of the world tour “La Lotería” were presented, which continues to fill large stages internationally.

Friends of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, your friends Los Tigres del Norte greet you. We are very excited because we will have the opportunity to be there for the first time with you to sing all your songs this May 16th”, expressed the famous group in a short video broadcast during the press conference. The band arrives at this new stage after a recent artistic consecration, obtaining recognition at the Latin Grammy Awards for “La Lotería” in the categories of Best Norteña Music Album and Best Regional Mexican Song, distinctions that reaffirm their leadership in regional Mexican music. Coinciding with International Bachata Day, Pedro Zamora highlighted the deep cultural connection between Mexico and the Dominican Republic, pointing out the influence that genres such as the ranchera ballad and the corrido have exerted on the evolution of bachata and on some of its most emblematic hits. In that sense, the production announced that the concert will include special participations by stellar figures of bachata. The Dominican consul in New York, Jesús “Chu” Vásquez Martínez, thanked Los Tigres del Norte for their openness to strengthen ties with the Dominican public; to the organizers, for their vision and commitment; and to the public, for being an essential part of the announcement.

"Today we celebrate a very special moment: the presentation of the details of the world tour of the renowned Mexican group Los Tigres del Norte, a musical reference that has marked generations and continues to bring Mexican art, history, and identity to the world's stages," he expressed.

The filmmakers also highlighted that this tour will contribute to cultural tourism, artistic collaboration, and creative exchange in the region.
