Warning of a possible bacteria in powdered milk for babies of the brand Nidina 1 (Nestlé)

Madrid.- The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) has warned this Friday of the possible presence of a dangerous bacteria (Bacillus cereus) in Nestlé powdered milk for infants from the Netherlands.

The Aesan has been informed by Catalonia, through the Coordinated Rapid Information Exchange System (Sciri), of the possible presence of that bacteria in the product Nidina 1 of the Nestlé brand with a best-before date of October 2027.

The product packaged in a jar weighs 800 grams and its batch number is 52900346AB, according to the published information.

The agency has recommended that people who have this baby formula at home refrain from consuming it.
