Judicial decision on coercive measures in Senasa case is delayed

Santo Domingo.-The reading of the resolution on the coercive measures requested against the ten defendants in the Senasa case continues without being produced, despite the fact that it was scheduled for 6:00 in the evening this Sunday. The delay has generated expectation and tension among the parties involved and those who have gathered at the place.

According to a journalist from Noticias SIN from the Palace of Justice, Judge Rigoberto Sena has not yet entered the courtroom, which has prevented the formal deliberation and reading of the decision from beginning. This situation has prolonged the wait for the defendants, their defense lawyers, the representatives of the Public Ministry, and dozens of people who remain in the vicinity of the court.

As the hours pass, the atmosphere remains charged with uncertainty, awaiting the magistrate's appearance and the court's final announcement of the measures to be imposed in this judicial process, considered of high public interest. The authorities have not offered official explanations for the reasons for the delay.
