15 undocumented Haitian migrants detained in Guayubín

Montecristi. - A patrol of the Dominican Republic Army (ERD) managed to stop 15 undocumented Haitian nationals who were trying to evade a military post located in the province of Montecristi. The ERD soldiers intercepted the group of foreigners, including 07 men, 06 women, and 02 minors, all in irregular migratory status. The detainees were transferred to the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Brigade of the ERD, where they will be processed in accordance with the corresponding legal procedures.

This operation was carried out in compliance with the instructions of the General Commander of the ERD, maintaining its commitment to the protection of the border, the strengthening of security, and support for other State institutions.
