“My son was covered in bruises”, cries mother of drowned prospect

Santo Domingo Norte.– Santa Frabian Rincón, mother of prospect Anser Daniel Rincón Fabián, called for justice for the death of her son and assured that the family rules out the preliminary version that the young man died by drowning. Amidst the pain and outrage, the mother stated that it was the younger child's sister who was able to see the body and noticed multiple visible bruises. “My daughter saw him covered in bruises”, she expressed, insisting that the conditions in which he was found do not correspond to a simple accidental drowning. Anser Daniel, 15 years old, was found dead in a lagoon located behind the José Méndez Baseball Academy, on the Yamasá–Villa Mella highway, where he was doing sports practices as a prospect.
