Caracas.- A plane with 110 migrants repatriated from the United States arrived this Monday in Venezuela from the city of Miami, as part of the Great Homeland Return Mission, the state program that manages returns to the South American country, and the migration agreement signed last year with Washington.
The Ministry of Interior and Justice reported on its Instagram account that 92 men and 15 women arrived, as well as a teenager and two children.

"They were received by the citizen security agencies and the different institutions to apply the corresponding care protocols," indicated the state portfolio. The plane was operated by the American airline Global Crossing, and landed at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, which serves Caracas. According to the institution, this is the 112th repatriation flight since Caracas and Washington signed a migration agreement at the end of January last year, which was maintained even amid tensions over the US military deployment in the Caribbean Sea. "These actions are part of the Bolivarian government's commitment to guarantee the return of those Venezuelans facing adverse conditions abroad," added the ministry. On February 13th, 109 migrants returned to the country from the United States, on a plane that departed from Miami.
