Governor supports Supérate's social inclusion operation in Las Lagunas, Azua

Azua. – The provincial governor of Azua, María Minerva Navarro, supported the social inclusion operation carried out in the municipal district of Las Lagunas, a day led by Damelia Zapata, deputy director of the Social Development Directorate of the Supérate program.


The activity was attended by regional director Juana Díaz and local authorities, with the aim of bringing the State's services closer to the communities and providing direct support to families in vulnerable conditions.


During the operation, residents received care and services offered by various institutions, including the National Health Insurance (SENASA), the National Council on Disability (CONADIS), the National Housing Institute (INVI), Supérate, and Edesur Dominicana.

In addition, baby baskets were delivered to pregnant women, as well as wheelchairs and crutches for people who required assistance.


Governor Navarro highlighted the importance of these types of initiatives to improve the quality of life of the province's most needy families.


For his part, Zapata reiterated the commitment of the Supérate program to continue developing social inclusion operations in different communities, with the purpose of ensuring that State services reach those who most need them.
