Los Angeles (USA),.- The entertainment giant Netflix has ceased to be a partner of As Ever, the lifestyle brand of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle with which she developed the series 'With Love, Meghan'.
"Meghan's passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful and simple ways inspired the creation of the As ever brand, and we are pleased to have contributed to making that vision a reality," Netflix said in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter. You may be interested in: Netflix confirms the sixth season of ‘Emily in Paris’
The Duchess "will continue to expand the brand and take it to a new stage independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to brighten homes around the world," added the writing. As Ever, which features tea infusions and jams, and which Netflix also decided to promote after the contract renewal last August, promotes the sale of products such as scented candles at $64 or the most expensive honey in the world. Five years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex closed a lucrative deal with the on-demand content platform for an estimated $100 million after retiring from their royal duties in 2020, which ended in September. Last August, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex extended their agreement with the entertainment giant to continue producing new film and television projects on the platform, avoiding rumors that the contract was due to low audience levels, as reported at the time by the British tabloid 'The Sun'.
