Iran will launch new attacks against Israel and US targets in the Persian Gulf

International Editorial.- The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced in the early hours of this Saturday two new waves of attacks against Israel and US targets in the Persian Gulf, two weeks after the start of the war unleashed by the United States and Israel against Iran. In a statement reported by the Iranian Fars and Tasnim news agencies, the Iranian elite corps claimed to have fired against Beersheba, Navatim, and the Negev desert in Israel. Subsequently, it reported more joint attacks with the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah against the north of the country (Haifa, Galilee, and Golan). The Revolutionary Guard also said it had bombed the US Al-Dhafra base in the United Arab Emirates with missiles and attacked Al Udeid, Washington's largest military base in the Middle East, located in Qatar. The scope of the attacks has not yet been revealed, although the Israeli army warned on two occasions that it identified missiles launched from Iran. Subsequently, it assured that emergency and rescue teams were "operating at an impact point" in the north of the country.

The Offensive Against the Persian Gulf Countries

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense reported intercepting at least eight drones in the last four hours. For its part, Qatar's Ministry of Interior ordered the evacuation of unspecified areas as a "temporary precautionary measure" until "the threat diminishes." Two weeks ago, the United States and Israel launched a joint offensive against Tehran, which ended the life of the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and triggered a conflict that has not ceased in the region. Iran has responded by relentlessly bombing Israel and the Gulf countries, just as the attacks against the Islamic republic continue. The conflict has spread to Lebanon, where Hezbollah, backed by Iran, has launched limited-range attacks against northern Israel, while the Jewish state has responded with bombings on the south of the country, as well as ground incursions, and Beirut, the capital. Since the beginning of this war, more than 770 people have died in Lebanon and at least 12 have lost their lives in Israel. In addition, 14 American soldiers have also died.
