PROPEEP brings hope and solutions to the community of El Quemado Arriba, in La Vega

La Vega, Dominican Republic. – With a firm social commitment and a focus on the needs of the people, the Strategic and Special Projects Program of the Presidency (PROPEEP) developed a comprehensive assistance day in the community of El Quemado Arriba, where dozens of families received essential care and concrete answers to their main concerns. The initiative, framed within the so-called “Impact Route,” became a direct channel between the demands of the population and the solutions that contribute to improving their quality of life. From the early hours of the morning, brigades of the program offered various services, thus reaffirming the government's vision of maintaining a close and humane management.

The operation was led by the deputy director of PROPEEP, Yenny Chaljub, along with Eraleisy Vásquez, PROPEEP's northern regional deputy director, who were accompanied by local authorities and community leaders who positively valued the intervention.

During the day, the community members expressed their gratitude for the program's presence, highlighting the direct impact of these actions on their lives. The authorities reiterated that this type of initiative responds to the commitment made by President Luis Abinader to prioritize the most vulnerable sectors of the country. The activity not only represented the delivery of services, but also a space of closeness, listening and accompaniment, where each story and each smile reflected the importance of continuing to work with a vocation for service, love and dedication. With this type of interventions, PROPEEP continues to consolidate its mission of positively impacting communities, bringing real solutions that transform the day-to-day lives of those who need it most.
