Man arrested for attack with a stone that left a 79-year-old woman seriously injured in SDE

Santo Domingo Este.– Authorities arrested a homeless man on Sunday afternoon, identified as the alleged responsible for throwing a stone at a moving vehicle, an act that seriously injured a 79-year-old woman in an incident that occurred days ago in this municipality. The victim, identified as Mercedes Gil, sustained severe facial injuries after a rock hit the windshield of the vehicle she was traveling in with her family, while they were driving on a bridge that connects 25 de Febrero Avenue with the San Isidro highway.
