Santo Domingo Norte. – The Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (Edeeste) informs the community of the BNV-1 circuit, on Jacobo Majluta avenue, that the interruptions recorded in recent weeks are due to the overload presented by said circuit, which becomes more evident in this season of high temperatures, when the energy demand increases considerably.
The area of influence of the BNV-1 circuit is constantly expanding, with new residential areas and population growth that increase electricity consumption day after day. This has caused the circuit to operate at its capacity limit, causing interruptions that have impacted the residents of the area.

To carry out these tasks, it will be necessary to interrupt the service on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th of this month, from 9:20 a.m. to 5:20 p.m., in order to facilitate the safe and efficient work of the technical teams in the field. The sectors that will be impacted during these workdays are: Ciudad Modelo, El Dorado III, Eugenio María de Hostos V.M., La Mina-Guaricano, Los Cazabes, Residencial Colinas del Viento, Residencial Roalva, Residencial Tierra Alta, Residencial Villa España and Ciudad Bonita. Edeeste appreciates the understanding of the communities during the execution of these actions, and reiterates its commitment to continue expanding and reinforcing the electrical grid to respond to population growth and increased demand, with the aim of guaranteeing a more stable and efficient energy service for all its customers.
