Fire continues out of control in downtown Azua

Azua.– A fire recorded this morning of this Wednesday, January 21 keeps members of the Azua Fire Department deployed at the intersection of Bartolomé Olegario Pérez and 27 de Febrero streets, where a spare parts store and a service office operate. According to preliminary information, the flames spread rapidly and reached an adjacent dwelling, causing alarm among the residents of the area. So far, firefighters have not been able to extinguish the fire and continue to work intensely to prevent the fire from spreading to other nearby buildings.

Authorities reported that no injuries have been reported, while the corresponding investigations are carried out to determine the causes of the fire and quantify the material damages. They also urged the population to stay away from the affected area, in order to facilitate the work of the rescue organizations and guarantee the safety of citizens.
