The bus driver and fare collector were placed under military custody
Montecristi.- Members of the Army detained a public transport bus in Montecristi, in which they found as passengers 02 undocumented Haitian nationals and illicit merchandise, including cigarettes and other products. The soldiers of the ERD assigned for service at the El Puente checkpoint inspected the Universe Xpress Prime bus, where the undocumented individuals were found, including 01 man and 01 woman. The driver, identified as Cesar Antonio Rodríguez Núñez and the collector, Fredis Santos, along with the undocumented individuals and the illicit merchandise, were placed under military custody and taken to the San Fernando Fortress of the ERD, for the corresponding processes.
