From their side, farmers Aquilino Victoriano and Rafael Marte expressed their joy for the government's investments for the development of Constanza. "I see that work as a priority; for all tourists and all of us who live in Constanza it is something favorable, we are very happy," Rafael expressed. For Eugenio Durán, the work is "a marvel" thanks to the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and President Luis Abinader. "This has been a fact and was needed for the development of Constanza," he pointed out. The road, with an extension of 11.93 kilometers and an investment of almost 485 million pesos, was supervised by the Executive Committee of Infrastructure of Tourist Zones (CEIZTUR), and included asphalting, rainwater drainage, sidewalks, curbs, signage and maintenance of the existing bridge, guaranteeing safe and dignified access to the highest waterfall in the Caribbean. The Aguas Blancas Waterfall, located in the Valle Nuevo National Park, 20 kilometers from the town of Constanza, has more than 83 meters of drop and, along with the La Jalda Waterfall, is one of the highest in the Caribbean, establishing itself as an ideal attraction for ecotourism and hiking.
