Miami, FL. – The legendary Dominican merengue singer Toño Rosario arrived on Monday afternoon in the city of Miami to join the activities of the Billboard Latin Music Week 2025 and finalize the details of his expected performance alongside Elvis Crespo, La Insuperable and Ebenezer Guerra, this Thursday at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Rosario arrived at the Miami International Airport on a commercial flight, where he was received with affection and enthusiasm by his followers. Dozens of fans took the opportunity to take pictures with the artist, express their admiration, and show their affection.

Considered a living legend of merengue, Toño shared his excitement about participating in this special gala, especially for reuniting with Elvis Crespo, with whom he maintains a friendship that transcends the musical. He nostalgically remembered the beginnings of the interpreter of “Suavemente”, when he was part of his group as a chorus singer. “Very happy to be here, we are going to be at the awards, happy and grateful to go with a great artist. We are going to have a great show and we are preparing to give our best,” Rosario told De Último Minuto. The artist revealed that the invitation to be part of the musical number alongside Crespo came about genuinely, after the latter contacted his representative, Wilson Sánchez, who in the past also served as his manager. It was at that moment —according to Toño— that this collaboration, which promises to be one of the most memorable of the night, was finalized.
