Samaná.- During the inauguration of the renovated boardwalk of Santa Bárbara de Samaná, the artist El Blachy starred in an emotional moment by performing a capella the song “Color de Rosa”, in tribute to the iconic Ruby Pérez, at the request of the committee that accompanied President Luis Abinader.
The interpreter of hits like “Hola Perdida”, who was at the venue awaiting his official presentation, was surprised with a spontaneous invitation from the president's team. President Abinader was present at the event along with the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and other members of his cabinet, who support this work as part of the boost to the tourism development of the area.After fulfilling the request, El Blachy delivered an energetic performance for the attending audience, which consisted of people of all ages. During his show, he invited two ladies from the audience to come on stage and dance with him, and as a gesture of gratitude and closeness to the community, he gave them RD$10,000 in cash each.
