For El Camarón, this backing from the public, who have always enjoyed his bachatas, is a show of the affection and admiration they have had for all his music for more than two decades.
"This unconditional support means everything to me.
Feeling that the audience is always present, accompanying me in each song, is what inspires me to keep creating music from the heart. Each applause, each message, each time they sing with me, renew my commitment to keep giving them the best of me. My audience is my greatest prize!" confessed the artist.
"El trago en Las Terrenas" recreates the story of how a man returns with the same coin the damage that a great love caused him. The one who was left at the worst moment, but managed to move forward finding the cure in another woman.
"El Jefe" as he is also known has in Venezuela an audience that enjoys his music and the lyrics of his songs, opening a new market for the bachatero.

For this song Elvis Martínez shared the authorship of the song with his compatriot Miguel Braho and José Ernesto Peña.
