Santo Domingo.- The Argentinian actor Julián Gil spoke about his private life like never before in the most recent episode of the series Secretos de pareja, making serious accusations against his ex-partner, the Venezuelan actress Marjorie de Sousa, with whom he has starred in a media legal battle for the custody and maintenance of the son they have in common.
Gil claimed that he was physically assaulted by the also model at the beginning of their relationship, in 2011. He recalled, among other things, an episode in which she threw his clothes out the window of his residence in Miami, which caused a temporary estrangement. Despite this, they met again as friends in 2014, and according to him, she became pregnant after a night of drinking.
"We fought... I mean, she hit me. They grabbed each other, no. She grabbed me. I remember she threw all my clothes out a window over there in Miami. She beat me up, she ripped my whole shirt. That ended there. Then we met again in Nicandro Díaz's soap opera," he explained.
The soap opera heartthrob also revealed that he refused to live under the same roof as his then mother-in-law, who —according to him— had problems with alcohol, to avoid reliving childhood traumas.
In addition, she pointed out that Marjorie de Sousa was responsible for the separation between the Mexican actors Gabriel Soto and Geraldine Bazán, which occurred in 2018.
Gil's statements left the audience and his fellow program participants: Bárbara de Regil, Poncho de Nigris, and Bernardo Flores, stunned.
