Miss Dominican Republic's 70th anniversary gala will be on Thursday, July 30th at the National Theater

A historic edition that unites beauty and social legacy for the benefit of "La Casa del Autismo"

Santo Domingo. - Elegance, history, and social commitment will come together next Thursday, July 30, 2026, in one of the most transcendental and anticipated nights of the year, with the Miss Dominican Republic Universe national beauty contest.

Dominican culture will be seen through the beauty, intelligence, and culture of our young Dominican women. The national contest will celebrate its 70th anniversary with an unprecedented gala in the main hall of the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito. Seven decades of trajectory will parade under the lights of an emblematic stage, honoring the legacy of women who have proudly represented Dominican intelligence, discipline, and identity. From the historic coronation of Amelia Vega as Miss Universe 2003, to the outstanding recent international participations, this commemorative edition marks an emblematic moment in the evolution of the organization. A national production with international projection in this special edition, where 30 candidates representing the provinces will compete for the crown in a high-level event led by Magali Febles along with the renowned producer René Brea. The event will feature a first-class technical display, including the lighting design by Juan Tejera and the latest generation visual technology from Rental Vision.

The gala will be broadcast live in prime time on Color Visión channel 9, allowing millions of Dominicans, both in the country and abroad, to be part of this historic celebration.

Beauty with Legacy: A Cause That Transforms Lives

Beyond the shine of the crown, this edition has a deeply human purpose. The gala will be held to benefit La Casa del Autismo Magali Febles, a center designed to offer comprehensive care, early diagnoses, and specialized therapies to families in vulnerable conditions who face Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). "In a country where many families lack access to diagnosis, treatments, and therapies due to their high costs, this initiative seeks to change realities and build a space of hope, inclusion, and opportunities," expressed Magali Febles, National Director of Miss Dominican Republic Universe.
