Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios, confirmed this Monday, March 30th, that her relationship with Venezuelan former baseball player Carlos Gómez had ended. She made the revelation during an appearance on the program En Casa con Telemundo, where she spoke openly about this new personal stage.
During her participation, the beauty queen explained that the breakup happened on positive terms, however, she assured that "she is single but not alone." "A stage that came to an end in a way, I think the healthiest that could have been carried out by both sides, always wishing the best, but everything has its end and that already had an end," she expressed.

The Nicaraguan woman also acknowledged that there were already rumors about her relationship status before she made it public. "I'm not going to lie, you had already published the news, it was something that was already being talked about and yes, I am truly in this stage of my life of being single," she commented during the conversation. Palacios assured that she is living this moment with tranquility and gratitude, highlighting the learning that the relationship left her. "Grateful for the process I went through in which I grew, loved, and gave myself. I treasure and respect that stage of my life," she affirmed. Likewise, she made it clear that she maintains good feelings towards her ex-partner. "I wish Carlos and his family to have a full life, full of love, tranquility, and peace. Always my best wishes to them," she said, showing that the breakup was not marked by conflicts. Finally, Miss Universe highlighted that, although she is single, she is not alone, as she is open to continuing to be happy.
