Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi warned Israel and the U.S. on Friday that "the great and powerful Iranian people" will no longer tolerate "threats or insults" and "will not hesitate to reveal its true capabilities" to put an end "to any delusion" about its power.
"If President (Donald) Trump really wants a deal, **he should set aside the** tone **disrespectful** and unacceptable towards the supreme leader of Iran, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, and stop hurting his millions of most sincere followers," wrote the Iranian chancellor on X.

Abbas highlighted that, amidst the recent war conflict with Israel, Tel Aviv had "no other option than to turn to 'Daddy' to avoid being crushed by our missiles". This was said by the Iranian chancellor in reference to the attacks that the U.S. perpetrated against the nuclear facilities nuclear of Iran, just as Tehran was developing a series of bombings against Israel in response to an aggression by Tel Aviv days before. “The complexity and tenacity of Iranians are well known in our magnificent carpets, woven after countless hours of hard work and patience. But as a people, our basic premise is very simple and direct: we know our worth, we value our independence and never allow anyone else to decide our destiny,” pointed out the Iranian diplomat. Abbas also sent a clear message to Iran's enemies: "Goodwill begets goodwill, and respect begets respect." Therefore, he urged Israel and the U.S. to not make "worse mistakes" based on "illusions" that lead to it.
