Rome.- Pope Leo XIV will receive Chilean President Gabriel Boric in audience this Monday, the Vatican press office confirmed this Saturday.
The meeting will be held at the Apostolic Palace at 10:30 a.m. (8:30 GMT) and will subsequently also hold a meeting at the Vatican Secretariat of State. It will be Boric's first visit to the Holy See, who will also hold a bilateral meeting with the President of the Republic, Sergio Matarella, meetings with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and will attend the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the attack against the Christian Democrat leader Bernardo Leighton by order of the former dictator Augusto Pinochet (1915-2006).
