SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.— The debutant Shaun Anderson had a masterful presentation from the mound, while Cristhian Adames and Mel Rojas Jr. provided the necessary offense for the Tigres del Licey to blank 2-0 the Gigantes del Cibao this Wednesday at the Julián Javier Stadium.

With the victory, Licey achieved its third consecutive win and improved its record to 12-16, while the Gigantes fell to 11-16.

In his debut with the Tigres, Anderson was sensational: he worked his entire performance allowing only two walks and striking out seven, enough to take the victory. His dominance kept the Cibao bats neutralized from start to finish.
