The walk, led by the entity's CEO, Alberto Rodríguez Mella, was attended by officials and collaborators of the institution, who accompanied the students during the tour carried out in the morning. The journey began in Parque Colón and advanced along the emblematic El Conde street until reaching the Altar de la Patria, where a floral offering was held in honor of the Founding Fathers. During the event, Rodríguez Mella highlighted the importance of promoting love for the nation and respect for national symbols from the classrooms and through sports practice. The INEFI head emphasized that national independence represents a legacy of sacrifice that must be valued by the new generations, while urging young people to keep alive the pride of being Dominican both inside and outside the country. The activity was part of the institutional calendar designed to strengthen the comprehensive training of students, combining education, civics, and sports in the same setting.
