Santo Domingo.- The executive president of the Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana, Leonardo Aguilera, stated that the delivery of the Laderas del Este housing project represents an action of "immense social impact" for hundreds of Dominican families, during an event headed by President Luis Abinader.
The activity, organized by the Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVHED), included the delivery of 144 apartments in its first stage, out of a total of 368 units contemplated in the modern residential complex, built with an investment that amounts to 369.4 million pesos.
During his intervention, Aguilera expressed that every time he accompanies the president in this type of initiatives he does so with "great satisfaction", understanding that it is not only about official acts, but about concrete solutions that transform the lives of the benefited families.
"More than an official act, it is an action of immense social impact on hundreds of families. This is one of them," said the executive, highlighting that these projects allow Dominicans to access a home where they can build a future "of love and hope."
The head of BanReservas explained that the financial institution has supported the initiative with financing exceeding 330 million pesos, offering conditions that he described as the most competitive in the national market.
"When we talk about favorable conditions, we speak with facts. No one in the sector can beat an interest rate of just 8% fixed for seven years. Only the Banco de Reservas can offer it," he affirmed.
Aguilera also valued the quality of the work, highlighting the work of the construction team led by Fabio Santoni, while reiterating the bank's commitment to the government's vision of expanding access to decent housing.
The Laderas del Este project is part of the housing policy promoted by the current administration, aimed at reducing the housing deficit and improving the quality of life of thousands of Dominicans in different communities across the country.
