Las Américas International Airport.- Dominican authorities received the criminal Ángel David Medina Paredes (a) Guindo, who was deported from the United States, where he was located and arrested after intense investigative work, surveillance, and international contacts.
Upon his arrival in the country, as a deportee, he was immediately taken under strict security measures to the General Directorate of Migration for protocol purposes, and subsequently transferred to the Najayo-Hombres Correction and Rehabilitation Center, where he will remain at the disposal of the Public Ministry.

The renowned criminal "Guindo" was repatriated from the USA to the Dominican Republic along with other Dominicans. The flight arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon at Las Américas International Airport Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez, where a specialized tactical team awaited him, headed by SWAT units and members of the National Central Bureau (NCB-INTERPOL) Santo Domingo, in coordination and supervision of the Department of International Legal Cooperation, the Repatriated Unit and the Department of Human Rights of the Attorney General's Office.
The operation also had the support of the General Directorate of Migration, the Central Directorate of Intelligence (DINTEL), specialized SWAT tactical units, and the Department of Fugitives, Rebels and Convicts of the DICRIM. Furthermore, this operation was supported by the Enforcement and Removals Operations of Homeland Security ICE.
