Agrotécnica Central celebrates 25 years boosting the productivity of the Dominican countryside

Agrotécnica Central celebrated its 25th anniversary within the framework of the National Agricultural Fair, reaffirming its commitment to the development of the agricultural sector and its role as a strategic ally of the Dominican producer.
With over two decades of experience, the company has consolidated its position as a benchmark in the import, marketing, and distribution of high-quality agricultural inputs throughout the national territory. During the activity, which brought together producers, distributors, commercial allies, and sector representatives, the company's evolution and its impact on the country's agricultural productivity were highlighted. The president of the Perfesa Group, José Ramón Peralta Fernández, emphasized that these 25 years are the result of a vision based on collaboration and trust. "Agriculture doesn't advance alone; it advances when alliances are built, when teamwork is done, and when the collective well-being is considered," he expressed. He also indicated that the growth of AgrotécnicaCentral has been possible thanks to the support of producers, distributors, technicians and international partners, as well as the constant incorporation of innovative solutions that improve productivity, protect crops and raise the quality of harvests. The company has been a pioneer in establishing strategic alliances for the import of products from markets such as China and India, facilitating Dominican producers' access to more competitive and efficient inputs.

Since its beginnings, with operations concentrated in the East, South and Santo Domingo, Agrotécnica Central has managed to expand its coverage to reach the entire country.
"Today we can say with satisfaction that we accompany the Dominican producer in each agricultural region," said Peralta Fernández.

Currently, the company has a portfolio of more than 350 products, incorporating innovative solutions such as biostimulants and biological technologies, aligned with global trends in sustainable agricultural management. Furthermore, it maintains strategic alliances with companies from India, China, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, and Colombia, consolidating an international network that supports the quality of its products. As part of the commemoration, the company recognized outstanding distributors for their careers and commitment: Delis Minerva CéspedesJiménez (Doña Iris Agroveterinaria), Rolando Alcántara Sánchez (Agrofelsa), Julio Aramis Mora (Agro-Accesorios Mora) and Thomas Hardegger (Agro Estrella).
The event also included the unveiling of a commemorative symbol for the company's 25 years, as well as recognition of Vice President Jaime Peralta for his work in the development of international alliances, and General Manager Juan Luis Bueno, for his leadership for more than 18 years. Finally, Peralta Fernández thanked the company's human team, highlighting their commitment and quality as one of the main pillars of its growth.
