Monte Plata. – Political leader Anderson De Los Santos reported this Friday morning that he is in the community of La Cuesta del Jobo, where repair work is currently being carried out on the detour that was destroyed by the intense rains recorded in the last few days in the area.
According to their statements, the rainfall caused the collapse of this provisional passage, leaving more than five rural communities isolated, directly affecting dozens of families who depend on this route to travel, carry out commercial activities, and access basic services. Likewise, he explained that the situation also impacted access to the landfill used by the municipalities of Yamasá and Peralvillo, as well as by the municipal district of Los Botados, which has generated difficulties in the collection and disposal of solid waste in these demarcations.
