The General Directorate of Information and Defense of Social Security Affiliates (DIDA) reported that 26,167 people with different types of pensions approved by the Executive Branch are still not enjoying them because they have not formalized their inclusion in the pension payroll of the State of the General Directorate of Retirements and Pensions (DGJP) of the Ministry of Finance, according to data updated to November 2025.
Elías Báez, director of DIDA, indicated that the list of these beneficiaries was provided by the General Directorate of Retirements and Pensions, at the request of DIDA, with the aim of identifying people with approved pensions who have not yet completed the process of incorporation into the payroll of pensioners and monthly payments begin.
Báez explained that among the identified people are beneficiaries of solidarity pensions, for seniority in service and pensions from the former Dominican Institute of Social Security (IDSS), who already have the right granted by decrees of the Executive Branch, Law of the National Congress or resolution of the IDSS approved by the DGJP.
DIDA called on people who have applied for a pension and have not received a response regarding their process to consult the website www.dida.gob.do at the following link Listado-de-Pensiones-Pendientes-de-Formalizar-su-inclusion-a-Nomina-corte-noviembre-de-2025.pdf, or consult social media @didardo and by phone at 809-472-1900.
The official reported that if they appear on the list, beneficiaries must present themselves at the offices of the General Directorate of Retirement and Pensions (DGJP) with their identity and electoral card (original and copy), a 2x2 photograph.
He added that once the validation is complete, the DGJP will proceed with the inclusion in the general payroll of retirees and pensioners of the State, in order to guarantee the corresponding monthly payment in accordance with the applicable legal regime. The deadline for inclusion is three months.
The general director of DIDA, Elías Báez, highlighted that this initiative is part of the institutional commitment to social protection, transparency, and the defense of citizens' rights, ensuring that each beneficiary can effectively exercise their right to receive the pension they are entitled to.
