DiDi prepares for one of the busiest days due to Mother's Day

The application anticipates a significant increase in the demand for travel requests and makes its technological solutions available to accompany Dominicans during this celebration Santo Domingo.- Mother's Day has become one of the dates with the greatest mobility and family gatherings in the Dominican Republic. According to DiDi data, during this celebration last year the demand for travel requests increased by nearly 30% compared to the previous week, recording peaks of up to 50% from noon onwards.

Historical data from the application show that, during last year's Mother's Day celebration, some of the highest concentrations of travel request demand in Santiago de los Caballeros were recorded in areas such as the Historic Center and the Fernando Valerio Urbanization. In Santo Domingo, the greatest movement was concentrated in the National District, especially in sectors such as Villa Juana and Villa Francisca, during the celebration of this date in 2025.
