Dominican Development Foundation renews its board of directors and recognizes micro-entrepreneurs

Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Development Foundation (FDD) held its 58th annual assembly this Wednesday, in which the new board of directors for the period 2025-2027 was elected, headed by Jean Paul Quiroz, who will assume the presidency of the organization. “We are recognizing the most outstanding entrepreneurs of the year 2024, making the change of directive and presenting the accountability of last year. We feel very pleased and committed to the future plans of the FDD to continue promoting microcredit in the Dominican Republic”, expressed Quiroz, who until today served as vice president of the council. During his statements, the incoming president announced that the new period will be marked by the launch of innovative financial products, with the aim of adapting to the new socioeconomic dynamics of the country. In addition, he reaffirmed the institution's commitment to the resilience and sustainability of its operations, supported by international alliances.

The assembly was attended by a large number of business people, government representatives, and civil society organizations. The FDD paid tribute to exemplary entrepreneurs in the country, highlighting their effort and valuable contribution to the social and economic development of their communities.
