The National Council of Commerce in Provisions (CNCP) held a meeting with the Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs, Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, with whom they discussed issues related to national supply and the strengthening of the provisions trade in the face of the current international situation.
They both agreed that dialogue between the public sector and commerce is key to contributing to the economic stability of the country.
Likewise, the merchants valued the Government's willingness to dialogue and the commitment to evaluate solutions to the needs of the sector.
Given the current international situation, the CNCP said it supports the measures adopted by the Government, aimed at protecting economic stability and the well-being of Dominican families.
They will also continue to promote, from the institutional sphere, initiatives that strengthen the trade of provisions and their role in the national supply system and bring products at affordable prices to every household in the country.
